Domestic violence is the leading cause of homelessness for women and families. Understanding the dynamics of DV will help service providers and other system partners respond and support survivors. Tools will be shared to safety plan and collaborate with local domestic violence service providers to further promote survivor safety. The federal housing protections that exist for survivors will be highlighted along with some important new information regarding how HUD continues to prioritize survivor safety within federally subsidized housing programs.Intro Track
